Full-Service Water Damage Provider
Locally owned and operated since 1997
Established by The Big 7 Principles
There has been an increased public awareness of poor indoor air quality and its potential negative effects on a living or work environment. It is widely recognized in the restoration industry that badly handled water losses are the number one sources of poor indoor air quality. An unaddressed water loss or incomplete water damage restoration loss can result in microbial growth, bacterial amplification, bad odor, and poor indoor air quality.
There are currently no set governmental standards or regulations for water damage restoration or mold remediation, nor established Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL) or Threshold Limit Values (TVLs) for airborne mold contaminants. Yet, it is the responsibility of conscientious remediators to seek out and learn from environmental data currently available. This would enable them to made sound, honest judgments, and properly educate their customers without the mold hype and scare tactics that is, unfortunately, prevalent in this industry.
We at A-1 Extraction, Inc. believe in on-going education, and exercise critical common sense approach for each and every job. We do not believe in perpetuating hype or scare tactics. Our protocols and techniques in handling water, sewage, and mold situations are conscientiously guided by IICRC’s S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration and S520 Standard and Reference Guide for Mold Remediation, and the EPA’s guidelines (www.epa.gov/mold) regarding mold remediation in homes and commercial buildings.
Besides keeping up to date with scientific breakthroughs in restorative drying techniques and equipment, we have a reputation for The Big 7 Principles—integrity, conscientiousness, efficiency, professionalism, skill, dependability, and caring.
